(More customer reviews)I wanted this to burn the skin off poblano peppers without using the big propane shop torch. It will do it, but slowly. It's not a big or powerful flame, and it seems to kind of flame out regularly - a small pop and you have to relight. It is no doubt just fine for other kitchen flame tasks, but look for something bigger and badder to burn off your peppers. On the plus side, it is easy to fill and light and to lock on. And you can indeed easily see the fuel level. A good thing, too, as you go through a lot of fuel trying to do anything heavy with the wimpy flame.
