It is very easy to use and has the features that the average family needs & wants without a bunch of unnecessary difficult to use features. I have no trouble getting toast or bagels out. When it pops, just gently pull up on the handle and it lifts the bread a little higher so it's easy to get out. No problem. The crumb trays are easily removed to clean as well. I recommend this toaster to anyone who is looking for a reliable, functional and inexpensive toaster!
