(More customer reviews)This is not traditional Halvah, or really any type of Halvah you may recognize. In fact why this is called Halvah is beyond me. It's more like a Almond/Cashew Butter.
Also, and this is kind of a big one, the product description does not mention that one of the main ingredients is carob. In fact, this product calls itself Heart n' Sol, Organic Almond, Cashew, Walnut CAROB Halvah on the jar.
Everything about this product is so not Halvah that this should get zero stars - but it's so darn tasty I give it 5 stars anyway.
Want traditional Halvah? Want ANY kind of Halvah? This ain't it. But if you're open to all-organic "Almond-Cashew-Walnut-Carob Butter" made with ingredients you recognize, go for it. Don't be surprised if you eat the whole thing with a spoon in one sitting instead of spreading it on bread or whatever. Your bathroom scale will hate you.
Also, product shipped a few minutes (!) after I ordered it. Packed very well in styro-peanuts (sorry, earth) so jar arrived safely.
Only neg here is that it's a little small for the price, but understandable given the ingredients.

Where else would anyone dare add chia and golden flax seeds?! Tasting is believing! We suggest you give it a try!
