(More customer reviews)In recent years I have substituted pecans for walnuts in all recipes because I found most packages of store bought walnuts had some either bitter tasting nuts or rancid ones. I needed a large quantity of nuts for baking & because the pecans I have ordered in the past were not available I decided to try the Planters walnuts. So far each one I have eaten right out of the bag has been very good - none stale or rancid - and all my baked products were as good as with pecans. A lot of the nuts are halves and the rest in large pieces. I will be ordering these again.
