(More customer reviews)I wanted a simple toaster oven to make toast and heat up open sandwiches - nothing fancy- nothing expensive It was hard to find because everything has a convection oven (which I didnt' need) which drives the price up into a range I didn't want to pay. This oven meets my needs - it toasts well and quickly - fits 4 slices very tightly (is a little smaller/shorter height inside than I expected.) Easy to see the toast due to rounded door design - I think it was worth the money.

(More customer reviews)Beware! Once you've selected the "shade" of how you want the toast, and depress the lever, the only way you can get it to stop earlier is to unplug it!! I hate that aspect. I keep my bread in the freezer, so it takes longer to toast. The first time I used it, I set it for too dark. The toast started burning. I tried pushing up on the lever like you would to most toasters, but nada! I had to unplug it to make it stop. Very poor design. Other than that, I like it. It's not only wide enough for bagels, but long enough for Branola or Orowheat bread, which not all
toasters are. I plug this into a surge surpressor now, so if it needs to come out early, I trip the surpressor, and the toast pops up.
