(More customer reviews)I use these "brownies" as energy snacks on long hikes or bike rides. Each 90 calorie package has only 1.5 grams of fat, which is much less than most other energy foods. They don't have a real chewy fudge taste like real brownies, but they do have a nice moist texture and real chocolate flavor. That is a big improvement vs. most other ultra-low-fat snacks which taste like cardboard. With the 40% discount coupon, each brownie costs around 30 cents which is a good price for a pre-packaged item with long shelf life. The box I bought in August has an expiration date in November.
I like this 1 ounce size better than the 3 ounce Erin Baker products. The 3 ounce cookies are much bigger and take me a while to eat and tend to crumble apart before I can finish them. The 3 ounce products do taste better (to me), though they also have more fat (7 grams of fat for a 300 calorie cookie).
